Here’s the talent and me. Very affable, amiable folk. If you need to contact anyone in here, to find out more about this project or themselves, you’ve come to the right place.
The man with the plan. He fancies himself a Hannibal, he’s certainly no Face.
He recently won college in computer engineering. First place. He’s clearly chalking that one up as win. And, fearing a “jinx”, he would never admit he’d prefer to do this for a living. Allegedly.
I’m open to dialogue, my contact info is right below.
Schoppe was dispatched to make art with nothing but a handful of mp3 “examples”, some embarrassingly musical pseudo jargon instructions and, for some reason, spreadsheets. Somehow he pulled off a completely interactive, sampled, mixed and mastered soundtrack that perfectly fits whatever instructions I gave him. And also was better than what I’d ever had in mind. He delivered, right in time, a much more layered, complex and melodious sound than I had the ability to understand.
He was immediately handed over the reins of the whole audio situation. His finely tuned ear and technical proficiency produced the spectacular sound effects in StreetWalkingMan as well.
Always one open to ramble about “tone”, “feeling” and “color”, even when those terms mean completely different things to each.
D.E. Medus’ talent and craft often clashed with ambiguous, contradicting instructions and directions, yet his professionalism, commitment and quality did nothing but shine through it all.
On every meeting he managed to capture the core of the idea and he had the technical prowess to masterfully pull it off. A consummate professional dedicated to be the best in whatever direction the project goes.
D.E. Medus is not only a pretty voice, he’s also in charge of the fascinating fantasy, sci-fi, horror podcast known as Medus Pod, that I can’t recommend enough. Contact links below.
